Woodcutting is one of the most commonly used skills in runescape. A lot of it is due to the fact that it can be very profitable and it is a very easy skill to train. When the new updates came out introducing Ivy and the Sawmill a lot of the older players were pissed off that they had to chop down willows and teaks until level 99 and that it was unfair for the skill to be made so easy. Luckily for you, this means less work and less time spent clicking on virtual trees hour after hour. As with any skill on runescape, you must be very patient and hard working. Getting a skill all the way to 99 takes time and a lot of perseverance. You might get bored or tired of training one particular skill for such a long time but in the end if you stick with it, the skill cape a long with the bragging rights of having maxed out the skill will be worth it. Not to mention the gold that you will make in the process could come in handy for that new suit of armor or party hat.
•Always use the best possible hatchet for your level. This will allow you to cut trees faster making you more money and saving you a lot of time.
•Strung rabbit Foot: These require 24 hunter but are useful in getting Bird's nest drops which contain valuable items worth up to 250k! (This is the only way to make money while training woodcutting with ivy)

levels 1-15: Cut Normal Trees, these can be found pretty much anywhere. In the video I recommend cutting them in West Varrock since Oak trees (which you will be cutting at level 15) can be found in that same location. If you would like you can either fletch the logs or drop them since they aren't worth a whole lot of gp I would recommend you drop them for faster exp.
Level 15-30: Cut Oak trees in that same spot as shown in the video or west varrock. These you could bank since the bank is not that far or fletch them as well.
levels 30-68: Cut willows in draynor village, you can either drop these or bank them. I think banking is faster even though they aren't worth much.
Levels 68-99 (Non money making way): Cut ivy in the south walls of Castle Wars. I would really recommend you use a strung rabbit foot since they can make you some money while cutting ivy since you don't get any money from cutting ivy.
Levels 70-99 ( money method): Cut yew trees south of seers village in a non populated world. Do this until 99 and you should make 35,555,608 or 35.5million gp
If you follow these steps you should be able to get 99 woodcutting in no time. As long as you remember not to give up and when you take breaks from the skill to always come back and persevere. I can guarantee you that a having a level 99 skill is definitely worth the hard work.
